Rede de Pesquisas em Roteiro (Screenwriting Research Network)

O Screenwriting Research Network é um grupo de pesquisa composto por acadêmicos, profissionais e pesquisadores interessados em pesquisas sobre roteiro. O objetivo é repensar o roteiro em relação a sua história, teoria, valores e práticas.
A rede começou seus trabalhos em 2006 no Centro de Pesquisa Louis Le Prince, na Universidade de Leeds.
Durante os últimos 14 anos, a rede cresceu rapidamente. As conferências anuais atraem um número crescente de pessoas ao redor do mundo para compartilhar experiências e discutir problemas da pesquisa de roteiro.
As conferências tiveram lugar em Leeds (2008), Helsinki (2009), Copenhagen (2010), Bruxelas (2011), Sydney (2012), Madison, Wisconsin (2013) Potsdam-Babelsberg (2014), Londres (2015), Leeds (2016), Dunedin, NZ, (2017), Milão (2018) e Porto (2019). Em 2015, o SRN também ampliou a abrangência geográfica para a América Latina, com uma Conferência Especial em Santiago, Chile, em maio. The Screenwriting Research Network is a research group consisting of scholars, reflective practitioners and practice-based researchers interested in research on screenwriting. The aim is to rethink the screenplay in relation to its histories, theories, values and creative practices.
The network commenced in 2006 within the Louis Le Prince Research Centre, at the University of Leeds.
During the last 14 years the network has grown rapidly. Yearly conferences have attracted a growing number of people around the world to share experiences and discuss problematics of screenwriting research.The conferences have taken place in Leeds (2008), Helsinki (2009), Copenhagen (2010), Brussels (2011), Sydney (2012), Madison, Wisconsin (2013) Potsdam-Babelsberg (2014), London (2015), Leeds (2016), Dunedin, NZ, (2017), Milan (2018) and Porto (2019). In 2015, the SRN also widened the geographic spread to Latin America, with a Special Conference in Santiago, Chile in May.
